Is everything going smoothly for you? I do not believe. If you can't offer your readers a solution, give them a problem to solve, like in school. It's not about making readers do a test in class, but about talking about a problem you've encountered and can't solve. Let's take ebooks as an example again. We buy an ereader for the first time and we are a bit clumsy when using it. We are unable to catalog the ebooks, load the ones we had on the computer, connect to the internet, etc. Overall, a total disappointment. Exposing a problem like this creates discussion on the blog. Some time ago I talked about a writing problem of mine and I created a joint post on the naked writer . We gain a themed content, we have told one of our negative experiences, other readers will be intrigued by any answers, because they too have had the same problems.
Hypothesize a solution Do you know what the difference is between what you know and what you don't know? A small punctuation symbol: “?”. Nothing else is needed. Simply putting a question mark at the end of a title can transform that post. Without that Special Data question mark the article would be a step by step guide. But with a question mark it becomes a hypothetical solution . My post on how to write a novel , written and published before I wrote one, offers no solutions, is not a guide, does not teach anyone anything. It only expresses the method that I would follow – that I am following – to write a novel. What are posts like this for? To generate traffic to the blog. No, seriously. They are not just for this purpose. Articles like this serve to improve us, first of all. We are basically creating our own working method and sharing it. Readers will be able to enrich the post with their own advice and other solutions.
Create an interview You read that right. I used the interviews to understand more deeply the topics that interested me and would interest readers. You. An interview should not be conducted just to get to know a character, to arouse the curiosity of the public by perhaps hosting a famous writer on our blog. I call them technical interviews: they are thematic interviews , which focus on a specific topic and I find them more interesting than generic ones. Do you want to learn something about a topic you know little about? Interview an expert . I would like to open a publishing house , but I know almost nothing about the topic, so I conducted an interview on how to open one. For my blog it is excellent content and for the interviewee it is advertising.
